Hunt Auto's First Annual Big Buck Contest

Hunt Auto is excited to announce our first annual Big Buck Contest. The contest is open legally harvested whitetail deer taken in Kentucky or Tennessee. To keep the scoring fair and simple, all entries are scored on gross measurements only— no deductions. By entering, participants agree to follow all state laws and contest rules, and acknowledge that Hunt Ford may use submitted photos for promotional purposes. 

• Deer must be harvested legally in Kentucky or Tennessee
• All state laws and regulations must be followed
• Contest dates: September 6, 2025 – January 19, 2026 (last day of KY deer season)
• Scoring is based on gross score only (no deductions)
• A tine must be at least 1 inch to be scored
• No game-proof fences or pen-raised deer
• Antler beams and/or points may only be measured to the point where they were broken
• Broken or split skull plates are ineligible
• Repaired beams or antler points cannot be measured
• All deer must be scored and signed off by a local taxidermist or certified scorer
• Each entry must include:
  
  • Official Scorecard
  • Harvest Confirmation Number
  • Photo of the harvested deer
• All entries must be submitted in person at Hunt Ford
  
  • No remote or mailed entries
• Hunt Ford reserves the right to publish photos in advertising, social media, and other promotions
• All disputes regarding scores or decisions will be resolved by Hunt Ford’s local taxidermist
