Chrysler Pacifica Awarded Best New Car 2019

2019 Chrysler Pacifica

The results are in. For the second year running, the Chrysler Pacifica has been awarded Best New Car of the year by the Good Housekeeping Institute and Car and Driver. To determine the recipients of the award, judges evaluate hundreds of vehicles based on certain categories. The 2019 Pacifica stood out in the categories of technology, comfort, safety, design, value, and handling.

The chief technologist & engineering director of Good Housekeeping, Rachel Rothman, said that the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica was an “unbeatable value” and “the ultimate family vehicle.” For starters, the Pacifica offers plenty of space for passengers and possessions. It even has a plethora of cubbies and bins to store children’s snacks and toys. Second-row passengers can also enjoy individual LCD screens powered by an advanced infotainment system. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone compatibility provide easy access to playlists and favorite apps, to make each drive seem a bit shorter.

Considering that the Chrysler Pacifica hybrid version took home the award last year, it’s not totally surprising that the fuel-powered Pacifica claimed the award for 2019. It’s just the latest accolade the minivan has added to its collection.
